Crux, The Living Star

3rd project from my last year of master's degree. I wanted to focus on character design, so, I thought of a plot for a magical girl (mahō shōjo) animated series.
---
The stars fell to the earth, running from a mysterious villain that is absorbing the powers of the constellations and replacing them in the skies with magenta lights.
Those touched by the stars are granted magical abilities and only when all the constellation is collected, they'll unlock its full power.
---
The villain of this story is a corrupted star given live, walking in corporeal form. Crux, seemingly, was once the Southern Cross constellation; now uses this new-found magenta energy to absorb the powers of the stars for an unknown purpose.
The living star's objective is to collect all the constellations, including Molly's and her peers'... and will do whatever is necessary to accomplish it.
